Behind the blogger...

So, I thought since I'm fairly new to the world of blogging, I'd do a post dedicated to facts all about me. I'm aiming for 100 facts, presuming I don't get bored or distracted before that figure.

Here it goes!

1. I'm small. Real small. At just 5'1, you'll rarely find me without heels.

2. I've known since year 6 that I wanted to be a lawyer.

3. I'm think Simon Cowell is gorgeous.

4. I HATE tea and coffee, despite working in a coffee shop.

5. I'm the most liberal, anti-conservative person you could meet, but I LOVE Margaret Thatcher; she was a strong, admiral, inspirational woman of great integrity and undermined ability to make this country a better place.

6. I love watching underground horror films.

7. I'm allergic to perfume and penicillin.

8. I've never had a nosebleed.

9. I talk so loudly it's not even funny. Even worse, I don't realise when I'm doing it.

10. My favourite book of all time is Lord of the Flies.

11. I'm nearly 20, but I still find Spongebob Squarepants comedy genius.

12. Caffeine is my ultimate weakness.

13. I have my tongue pierced.

14. I love boiling hot weather...

15. But unfortunately I burn like a crispy, oven chip within about 5 minutes due to having an extremely fair, Casper the ghost complexion.

16. My mum truly is my best friend.

17. I did ballroom dancing up until the age of 11.

18. My guilty pleasure is watching Dr Phil on youtube... Don't judge me.

19. I'm addicted to watching crime documentaries.

20. My parents nickname for me is Kid.

21. I always seem to be extremely ill on New Years Eve. Last year I had a sinus infection, the year before I had a severe allergic reaction to some antibiotics... Fingers crossed for NYE 2012?!

22. I LOVE my little kitty cat, Bailey

23. When I was young, I used to stay up all night on Friday's and Saturday's, listening to John Lennon  with my dad.

24.  Age IS just a number.

25. I get on better with guys than girls and thus have developed a man-like mentality.

26.  My nan (who is a little eccentric to say the least) nicknamed me Kellogg's when I was very young. She said it was because I loved Kellogg's cornflakes, even though I didn't.

27. I can't stand mushrooms. The texture, the taste, the look... Everything about mushrooms makes me nauseas.

28. I love Disney films and have an extensive collection. I used to watch Beauty and the Beast every single day when I was little and even had a Belle dressing up set from the Disney store.

29. I still have a stuffed animal from the day I was born.

30. I am currently studying for an undergraduate degree in Law and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I find every aspect of law fascinating, and particularly the underlying reasons for committing crime.

31. I own waaaay too much make-up, but I can't bring myself to part with any of it. Spring cleaning comes and goes but my make-up collection remains untouched.

31. Two of my most treasured possessions are both gifts from my dad. One is a dainty, silver necklace with a daisy and the other is a teddy bear from France. They may not sound special but my Dad isn't much of a 'gift-giving' kinda guy so they have a special place in my heart.

32. I have never used a fake tan product in my life, nor have I had a spray tan or used a sun bed.

33. I am passionate and firm in my beliefs and will fight my corner if someone confronts me. While I do accept that everyone is entitled to their opinions, I do love a good ol' debate.

34. I love my Nanny Janet more than words could describe. I had some major family difficulties during my childhood and my Nan was my saviour, my rock, my second Mum. She is an amazing, selfless woman and I admire her so much.

35. When I'm going to sleep, I need complete silence. No television, no music, phone on silent, the works.

36. I love Eminem's music and own all of his albums.

37. One of my favourite places to be is the beach.

38. I love, love, LOVE it when someone plays with or brushes my hair. It relaxes me more than anything, to the point where I can fall asleep.

39. My dream is to live and work in America. As I mentioned, I study and love law and think it would be an incredible opportunity to study the law and morality of another country, where it is so varied from my own.

40. When I was 2 years old, I was misdiagnosed by my doctor as having a peanut stuck up my nose (lol) when I actually had whooping cough. I also had German measles during the summer holidays when I was younger, and during both illnesses my Mum freaked out hysterically, thinking I was gonna die, haha!

41. I see myself as a very realistic person. Many have called my attitude pessimistic, but there's a big difference between pessimism and realism. Unfortunately, in this day and age, I think you can trust no-one and must suspect everyone!

42. Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven is a breathtakingly, beautiful song.

43. My boyfriend, who I got together with at 13, and I got voted 'Best Couple' in our last year at secondary school and had our photo forever printed in the yearbook. Haha, cute aye?!

44. The thought of turning 20 in less than two months scares me slightly.

45. I'm madly in love.

46. I'm waiting to go travelling until I'm older, wiser and in a more financially stable situation. I want to travel Australia, climb the Grand Canyon and go to Japan for starters.

47. I love to go camping and sleep under the stars.

48. I can't blow bubbles with bubble gum.

49. I have the strangest, sometimes frightening, dreams at least once a week.

50. I find writing facts about myself quite difficult.

51. I think Frankie Boyle is hilarious.

52. I kinda wish I was born in the 60's so I could have seen all my favourite bands live.

53. I have too many scarves.

54. I love listening to Mozart and Bach after a long day at work. Well, I love listening to them full stop actually. People who don't like classical music just can't see the purity and the genius behind it.

55. When I was 15, I had four fish named Aron, Mike, Captain Schmegma and Senoir Bitty (don't ask) and they all died on New Years Day. I reckon someone poured a few vodkas in the fish tank during the party and the fishes OD'd.

56. I have no interest in seeing/reading anything to do with Twilight or Harry Potter.

57. Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson and Anthony Hopkins are my favourite actors.

58. I HATE racism. I just can't fathom how skin colour can solely determine a person?

59. I think Kate Winslet is so beautiful.

60. I'm obsessed with Creme Brulee Vaseline.

61. I know my personal flaws and I do try to work on them. I can be stubborn, argumentative. impatient and spiteful.

62. If I could do anything, I would change the justice system. Victims are cheated out of closure and criminals are treated too lightly. It's totally back to front and it boils my blood. 

63. One of my many pet peeves is 'text-talk' and people who tink dis is propa English! Lazy, lazy people!

64. I used to have a crush on my English teacher...

65. I love to make people laugh, and I'm pretty good at it too.

66. I think Irish accents are sexy.

67. British comedy is fantastic - I could watch Fawlty Towers and Only Fools and Horses all day, every day.

68. I LOVE to go swimming.

69. My dad is THE real life Homer Simpson. It's equally hilarious and aggravating. 

70. I'm very sarcastic.

71. I've never broken or fractured a bone :)

72. I have the 'Wheller nose' which I am extremely self conscious about, but I am (very) slowly but surely becoming more comfortable with it.

73. I love diet coke. In fact, I'm drinking a can as we speak.

74. Strawberry is better than chocolate.

75. I'm petite but I have a curvy bottom.

76. I also have big boobs. It's a blessing and a curse I've inherited from my Mother's side.

77. It's my firm belief that a girl can never have too many shoes. Or bags. Or clothes. 

78. I enjoy reading other '100 facts about me' but I don't think mine will be as enjoyable.

79. I also enjoy poetry.

80. I talk to myself too much.

81. I get tremendously nervous in doctors waiting rooms, even if it's just for a general MOT.

82. I don't like Chinese or Indian food.

83. Toy Story is probably my favourite film.

84. When I was younger, I used to spy on my toys, in wait for them to come to life.

85. I like to make my parents proud.

86. Peaches are the best fruit in the entire universe.

87. Followed closely by strawberries.

88. I absolutely cannot wait to have children. 

89. When I was about 10, I had a tortoise named Eric. He used to poo everywhere and chew all the wires. He was cool. 

90. 2012 is the year I have conquered my OCD, which gravely affected my life, and I couldn't be more proud of myself.

91. 2012 is also the year I got a gym membership, and so far I'm loving it!

92. 2012 is ALSO the year I quit smoking :D

93. I am CLUMSY as hell. I had 10 mobiles in one year because I kept breaking/losing/dropping them in toilets or lakes...

94. I love silver jewellery, but I'm not keen on gold.

95. My worst habit is cracking the bones in my hands and fingers. 

96. I have an excellent memory.

97. I very rarely take painkillers. Only if I'm in agony. I like to let my body heal naturally.

98. I firmly believe that is is not important how many times a person falls down, but how many times they stand back up strong.

99. I really detest public toilets.

100. Writing 100 things about myself was harder than I anticipated. It actually feels like an accomplishment!
