Real Techniques

Hello beauties! In my blog post a couple of days ago (Superdrug & Boots haul) I mentioned that I snapped up my first Real Techniques brush, the stippling one. And I must say, on first impressions, I LOVE THIS BRUSH!

Real Techniques Stippling Brush - £11.99

I'm very impressed. Sometimes with new brushes, I experience fallout with the bristles but so far this hasn't shed at all. Before this, I had 3 different brushes I used for foundation - the ELF angled foundation brush, the ELF powder brush and a Boots No7 brush but this tops them all. It buffs my foundation into my skin beautifully and leaves a really natural, flawless finish. It's early days, so I won't do a full review at the moment but in the time I've had it, I've already come to love it! I was eyeing up the MAC 188 for a long time, but why part with £26 when the Real Techniques does an excellent job for under half the price?! Obviously I can't compare because I don't own any MAC brushes but for the price, this is a great quality brush and I would definitely recommend it for applying liquid foundation!

So, after being thouroughly impressed with this brush, guess what I happened to stumble upon in Boots today...

Real Techniques Core Collection - £21.99

Yes, the Real Techniques Core Collection found it's way into my basket and into my brush collection... Whoops. But, I can't wait to try these out! They are super soft and densely packed, just as the stippling brush so I'm hoping for good results!

Thanks for reading :)
